Competitive Comparison Volvo V90

Volvo V90 vs Audi Allroad

Let's take a closer look at the Volvo V90 and the Audi Allroad!

Are you in the market for a new family vehicle that still has a sporty side? We're comparing two of the leading family vehicles - the V90 and the Allroad. While the Allroad is a solid luxury vehicle, the Volvo V90 separates itself with its sporty exterior and high-quality materials. With a sedan-like stance partnered with the cargo space of a crossover, the V90 is truly the best of both worlds. Gerald Jones Volvo in Augusta, Georgia, has years of experience serving the greater CSRA and looks forward to helping you find your perfect car. Read more about the V90 below, and come see us today to take a test drive!

Performance

The V90 surpasses the Allroad right out of the gates, with an impressive standard 2.0 DOHC 4-cylinder engine that cranks out 316 horsepower and 295lbs-ft of torque. Compare that to the Allroad's 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder engine that tops out at 248 horsepower and 273lbs-ft of torque. The V90 also offers a standard, eight-speed automatic transmission whereas the Allroad only comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The V90 also comes equipped with regenerative brakes, which improves fuel efficiency. The Allroad does not.

Interior Style and Comfort

While both the V90 and the Allroad are luxury vehicles, the V90 goes above and beyond to enhance the driving experience. It comes standard with a remote starting system which also allows the car to be heated or cooled before you even get inside. The Allroad does not offer this feature. The V90 also has automatic tilting rearview mirrors to make reversing easier, and it also offers an available Park Assist Pilot feature, which allows it to parallel park or back into a spot by itself.

Safety

Both vehicles feature child safety locks, but the V90 allows the driver to activate them from the driver's seat, whereas they can only be engaged manually on the rear doors of the Allroad. The V90 also features built-in booster seats for children. These are integrated seamlessly into the design of the rear seats, so no more lugging heavy or bulky booster seats in and out of the car. This also helps ensure your smaller children are properly secured in the car. The V90 also offers a driver alert monitor to help warn inattentive drivers.
